Last 17th October has reunited in second calling the ordinary assembly of Corart Scarl, association for the promotion of the silver and goldsmiths craftsmen firms of Vicenza, to renew the social offices. Were presents a little less than the half of the partners, on a total of 30 businesses associated. Have been reconfirmed at the unanimity the Board of directors, composed by Liliana-Gianna Veronese, elected to the presidency of the Board of directors directly by the assembly, Gabriella Centomo, Nicola Todescato, Antonio Trevisan and Nino Tagliamonte. Have been renewed also the College of the Mayors composed by Maurizio Martini, president of the college, elected himself directly by the assembly too, Antonio Conte and the third real mayor, whose name will be communicated in the next few days from the Chamber of Commerce, while were designated temporary mayors Alida Bruttomesso and Franco Bortolamai. To the newly elected members, that will be in office until 2006, Corart wishes a profitable work period for the next three years.
During the evening Ms. Veronese presented the in-course projects for the future of Corart: the next publication of the 2004 edition of the annual catalogue, that for the occasion will be edit on a new style, strongly and graphically innovative. She presented then the different activity bound to the commercial developments expected for the market of the North America, that is as always the main pulling for the goldsmith economy too, such as missions, promotional events, fairs, …. Corart will lean and support the goldsmith District Agreement, created from all the associations of category, to promote in Italy and in the foreign countries the goldsmith production of Vicenza and of the Veneto Region, through the creation of a brand that can recall the Made in Italy one, because the district agreement is an excellent tool of growth for all the gold sector and the jewelry one in particularly. Finally she presented the orientation of Corart towards a direct commercial action in the foreign markets, such to offer a new tool to the actual partners. The evening carried out in an atmosphere of serenity and alive interest aside of the associated, that are propositive as always.
